"A jury consists of twelve persons chosen to decide who has the better lawyer." - Robert Frost

At a time when specialization is a defining quality of the legal profession, Aaron is from the "old school". Aaron is both a litigator and a problem-solver, dedicated to helping his clients rather than to a specific aspect of the law. He can, with equal skill, try a case to verdict, provide counsel that avoids litigation entirely, and/or facilitate a complex transaction.

While in law school, Aaron supported himself and prepared for the Courtroom by honing his skills in the Poker Room. Now he uses those skills learned on the felt -- reading people, calculating risk, and thinking clearly in pressure situations - in service of his clients.

Aaron began his legal career in the contentious world of Construction Law. It was there that he became proficient as a litigator, while also counseling his clients on proper procedures and crafting customized contract language tailored to the client's specific needs, with an eye towards helping clients avoid future litigation.

Aaron's practice includes an eclectic mix of sophisticated clients in, among other things, construction, energy, sports and entertainment, pharmaceutical and healthcare, financial services, fashion, manufacturing, logistics, and an array of other diverse businesses. Clients admire Aaron's directness, his broad range of experience, and his practical, business-oriented approach.

As a litigator, Aaron makes sure that clients understand the litigation process and all possible outcomes. If Aaron perceives that the probable result is not in the best interest of the client, he will not hesitate to advise them accordingly. If a client chooses to proceed, they do so with a full understanding of what to expect, including Aaron's guidance as to the likely outcome. Whether a client elects to proceed or not, they always know they will have a fierce advocate on their side.

As general counsel to many of his clients, Aaron serves as both lawyer and strategic advisor. Clients rely on Aaron for the kind of candid advice they might not otherwise get, even from their own management. Perhaps the greatest testament to Aaron's relationships with his clients is the rare level of trust he is able to engender.
